Description
We are experienced volunteers from the UK who spent 6 months travelling and volunteering in Latin America, 3 months volunteering in Spain, 7 years living and teaching English in China and 4 years working in the sustainability sector Bristol, UK.

We’d love to help with any eco projects and meet people who share the same care for the planet and people. At age 35 we hope that between us we have some experiences that we could use to help you:

- Experience volunteering on permaculture, self-sufficiency, rooftop farming, reforestation and conservation projects, in addition to general maintenance, cooking and hospitality in Latin America, Hong Kong, Spain and the UK
- Experience of transforming our own garden to grow 50 kinds of food and make a habitat for nature
- Masters degrees in Sustainability & Adaptation
- Work experience in sustainable energy and low energy buildings
- Work experience in policy on organic and sustainable food
- Permaculture Design Certificate
- Yoga teaching

Although we enjoy all kinds of cultural exchanges with people from all over the world, we are also quiet people who like to have some time to ourselves for a part of the day too, for exercise, reading, getting lost in nature etc. :-)

We’re really looking forward to our next Workaway stay, meeting you, sharing stories and experiences and helping with your project :-)

Wow, what a place, what an experience. We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse with Gemma, Quique and all the cats, chickens, alpacas and of course the wonderful Meru the dog, who joined us for several hiking excursions. We arrived at Mark and Dave’s place really tired after selling our house and giving up our careers in Bristol, and left feeling restored and rejuvenated.
