  • Description

    Hi everyone!
I'll try to introduce myself in a few lines…

My name is Nina Bolzer, I'm 21 years old, and I'm studying political science in Paris, but I'm originally from the south of France, from the mountains of the Pyrenees to be precise.
    That's the formal part.

Fortunately, those formalities don't reveal who I really am. So first of all, I decided to take a solo trip for two months in Mexico to escape a daily life ruled by academics.

I needed to see that there are thousands of other worlds, other possible paths, and that they are totally accessible if you truly go for them.
And here I am — I'm currently in Mexico, and I simply want to learn from everything around me: from the country, the people, the culture, the language, the daily life, and also from being alone.

The idea of doing some woofing or volunteering came to me naturally. Because more than just visiting each region of this wonderful country, I really want to settle into a place, a routine, a form of communication…

So I would love to offer whatever help I can to those who would be kind enough to welcome me.
Also, coming from a region where only countryside and mountains exist, I love nature and animals — they are an essential part of my inner peace, and I would absolutely love to work with them! I actually grew up with horses!

In any case, I’m really looking forward to meeting you, working alongside you, and sharing moments and conversations.
I only speak French fluently, I understand English quite well, and I struggle more with Spanish — but there’s only one thing I truly want: to learn!

More details about my language interests
I love languages, but I haven’t really had the opportunity to truly deepen that practice. However, I’ve always dreamed of learning to speak several languages, so I’m ready to make every effort to achieve that! On the other hand, French is my native language, and I really enjoy writing and reading, so I would say I have a particularly strong command of it. I’ve taken part in several public speaking competitions, and I’ve even come in first place in some of them. It would be a pleasure to teach it!

  • More details about your skills

I'm only 21, so I don't have many degrees yet and still have a lot to learn.
Nevertheless, I’ve spent a lot of time around horses and animals in general, so I really enjoy taking care of them.
I’m resourceful, I love learning, and I’m not afraid to try, to give things a shot...

I’m very sporty (I was a high-level handball athlete until I was 19), and I’ve always done a lot of hiking, running, cycling, weight training, horse riding, skiing... so physical activity won’t be a problem at all.

I’m not sure if it will be useful, but I also have some training in how to handle and sail a boat.

I’ve also done quite a bit of DIY and handiwork with my family, so I know how to use tools and fix things when needed.
Aside from that, I have a degree in political science — though I’m not sure how useful that will be in the field! 😊
I can’t wait for you to share your knowledge with me.
