VERY FRIENDLY, RELIABLE COMPETENT SMILEY COUPLE

Hello we are a married couple who have now been travelling europe now since March 2024…..
We have excellent reviews now from our varied experiences using workaway. Please have a read through.
We are very active and love to keep fit.
Julie is a hairdresser and I’m a gas fitter/plumber. We ran our own business’s for over 30 and 20 years, respectively before leaving the rat race!
We’ve renovated 4 of our own homes together and as we can never seem to settle anywhere for too long we are always looking for our next project or adventure.
hopefully we could help you with yours!!
we have slept in over 50 beds in the last year and a half and quickly adapt to new surroundings.
We have diversified in skills and things we wouldn't have dreamt we were capable of over the last year....... from building swimming pools, villa cleaning and maintenance, extensive gardening and land clearing, decorating, holiday let managing and lots more. we still are keen and willing to try new things so give us a challenge!

We are both love the outdoors and don’t mind getting our hands dirty!
Being a heating engineer/plumber I’ve spent all my time in the domestic construction industry which has helped Julie and I renovate our homes over the last 20 years of being together.
We can offer enthusiasm and experience with in most areas and if we are faced with new roles are happy to learn and pick up new skills, which we have done during our 2024 workaway year. As a bonus if anyone needs a haircut Julie is an excellent hairdresser!

Right from arriving at Maggie and Aide's beautiful home we felt really welcome and the conversation flowed for the next 10days effortlessly. our room was lovely, en-suite too. What an absolute joy karen and Peter were to work with, they asked us to do the tasks they needed help with, and all with such a wonderful view of the chateau. They're home is lovely and Karen is a wonderful cook. We learned a lot from them about French life and the places they'd travelled, and wouldn't hesitate to return if they needed help.
