Mein Name ist Ricarda, 30 Jahre alt und Solo-Backpackerin aus Deutschland. Ich bin eine abenteuerlustige, hilfsbereite, offene und vor allem neugierige Person. Ich bin seit 5,5 Monaten durch Amerika, Kanada, Irland, Italien und Ungarn gereist. Durch meinen Aufenthalt in Italien und auf den Azoren konnte ich tief in die Welt der Landwirtschaft und Hauswirtschaft eintauchen und fühle mich noch stärker mit der Natur verbunden. Es macht mir große Freude, mehr darüber zu lernen. Ich habe keine Angst, selbst Hand anzulegen: vom Obstpflücken über Garten- und Farmarbeit, Housesitting, Kochen, Organisieren und Planen bis hin zu Heimwerken und Bauarbeiten. Ich möchte gerne etwas ganz Neues lernen: Gastgewerbe/Tourismus, Natur- und Tierschutz. Eigentlich freue ich mich über jede neue Erfahrung, die ich machen kann. Mit Workaway möchte ich neue Erfahrungen sammeln und die Gelegenheit nutzen, so viel wie möglich von anderen zu lernen. Das Leben mit anderen Menschen und ihren Kulturen weltweit kennen und schätzen lernen.

In Germany I am an optician's assistant and have worked in the profession for about 10 years. Also worked in another company where it was about small events by mixing cocktails and delivering cocktails.
I regularly cleaned other people's homes and helped with renovations.

Rickie was very helpful and communicated well both with us(Jim and Hazel) and the kids.
