We are interested artists. we like to take photos (Ilari mainly on film and Simone on digital), throw pottery, sew clothes, drink wine and knit, etc.

Description

We are Ilari and Simone, two artists traveling together from the San Fransisco Bay Area to Ireland and Italy. We both graduated high school last year and are on a gap year to work on creative projects and get in touch with the greater world and all its flora and fauna. We love creation of any kind, playing music, drawing, ceramics, sewing, knitting, woodworking, photography, cooking, conversation and much more.
Simone lives on a botanical garden and artist space in Occidental CA. She enjoys a rural setting, community, animals of any kind, and fungi. She would love to work with animals and help with random projects.
Ilari lives in San Fransisco and works in a woodshop. He plays drums for a local indie rock band called wick and shoots too many rolls of 35mm film. Other than that, he sews, thinks, and enjoys himself. He would love to meet interesting people and have important conversations, but is trained in cabinetmaking and woodworking in general and could totally help with most building-related projects.

Hi, I'm Simone! I live and work at a 3-acre botanical garden and help out with greeting customers, selling plants, making compost, weeding, watering, and any odd jobs that arise. I've grown up riding horses and know how to take care of them, lunge them, and ride them. I am an animal lover who has grown up around dogs and cats and can give all animals care, patience, and attention. I am easygoing, artistic, and a hard worker. I love to cook. I have had lots of experience working with kids from teaching them how to ride horses to helping out with a camp at a ceramic studio and helping with aftercare. I've done a lot of house painting and am very detail-oriented.

Hello, I'm Ilari, I work for my dad's woodworking business, doing a lot of sanding, finishing, and detailing as well as shop milling, gluing up, and other joinery techniques. I'm very comfortable in a shop and can use most carpentry tools. I graduated from an Italian immersion school in San Francisco called La Scoula (formerly La Picola Scoula an Italian language preschool inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach) and though I lost a lot of it throughout highschool it would be pretty easy to get back to a place of relative fluency with Italian. I can sew and cook. I help my band record and engineer our recordings. I volunteered with my preschool one summer and can work with kids.
