Description
We are a couple from Denmark traveling in South America.
We met at university where we both studied Sustainable Urban and Environmental Planning. This of course explains our interest in sustainability projects as well as projects working with local communities and we both have professional skills in:
community engagement processes, climate mitigation and adaptation, waste and resource planning, and action planning.
Magnus:
I am a very active and outgoing person, who loves all kind of activities such as gymnastics, acrobatics and outdoor sports.
I have experience with teaching in schools, where I have worked with kids of all ages (6-16) as well as kids diagnosed with ADHD and autism.
I have also been a gymnastics teacher for kids of all ages (5-18) in both Denmark and Canada.
Beside that I love to cook and enjoy eating, as well as drinking craft beer and good wine.
Sara:
In my free time, I like to attend cultural events, go kayaking with friends or hang out in a community-led pottery workspace in Copenhagen.
I have experience with NGOs in both Denmark and abroad (Peru, Sierra Leone, and Cambodia) where I have facilitated community workshops, teaching, coordination of volunteers and more.
In Denmark, I have also worked on a local reuse and recycling station.
Besides that I love gardening and for a couple of years, I had my own vegetable garden in Copenhagen.
