Kia ora!
I am a traveller from New Zealand exploring Europe on my year abroad. I have joined Workaway in the hope of combining travel with being able to volunteer and contribute meaningfully, along with having more genuine experiences living life and working in different places, cultures and scenarios.

Here for adventure, new experiences and to try new things, I am open minded, willing to learn and up for giving things a go.

A responsible animal lover, I have done a lot of petsitting and house-sitting, and am always keen to care for new buddies!
I also love gardening, so would be interested in helping care for plants, or any scale of sustainable gardening - I am particularly interested in learning different ways people do things and learning about sustainable agriculture and home gardening. I have some basic experience working on mandarin farms and orchards, and I am keen to build on this.

I have worked on home renevations, so keen to help out with this sort of project again.

Water sports are a hobby of mine, competing in dragonboating, waka ama (outrigger canoe) and having basic experience helping out on sailing boats, and I would be very keen to further this knowledge with more boating.

I am fit and physically strong, so capable with manual labour.

My professional background is in marketing, communications and administration, with social media, photography and strong writing skills in English, am happy to utilise these skills if they can be useful! I'd also be open to teaching English.
