Hello! I'm a 30-year-old from the USA spending 1 year working and traveling. I am an outdoors enthusiast, a quick learner, and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I'm most interested in workaway opportunities that involve organic farming/permaculture, conservation, or allow for cultural exchange.
In my professional life, I spent several years working as a foreign policy specialist, which brought me to every continent. I thrive in multicultural environments and am always down for an adventure.
I enjoy hiking, camping, reading (mostly memoirs, sci fi, and fantasy), and knitting and crocheting. Most recently, I hiked 1,000 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail in the US -- it took 70 days!
I consider myself a social introvert. I've always lived in communal houses, and enjoy preparing meals for friends and spending quiet nights in.

Gardening: I am trained in compost management -- primarily vermiposting. I have basic gardening skills, and am very eager to learn more. One day, I'd like to operate my own permaculture setup, so am particularly interested in learning from other permaculture enthusiasts.
Outdoors: I am an experienced hiker / camper in wilderness settings. I have all my camping and wilderness survival gear with me and love sharing my passion with others.
Business: I'm social and organized. I'm happy to help with guest/hostel check-ins, office organization, or record keeping. Previously, I worked as a corporate strategy manager and have a good understanding of basic admin/business needs. I can also run social media and communication channels.
Kitchen: I'm a big fan of plant-forward cooking and food preservation. I do a lot of my own fermenting, sourdough bread baking, and kombucha brewing.
