Hello!

We are a married couple from California backpacking around the world on a year long trip. We’ve been in South America for about 4 months and are looking for a work away to get to know locals and improve our Spanish. We love reading, cooking, swimming, hiking, painting, and gardening. Before leaving on this trip, we worked together as website and digital marketing managers, so have a strong background in building and maintaining websites, marketing and social media.

Shannon, 29, is also a yoga instructor and has worked on community gardening projects both in South Africa and the United States. She has also done work exchanges at a hostel as a photographer and social media manager in Barcelona, Spain, and as a yoga teacher in Zanzibar, Tanzania. She is extremely diligent and a very hard worker, going above and beyond with every task she is given.

Kendall, 36, has worked as a Bartender, Chef and Product Manager at a tech company. Over the past few years, she has been lucky to travel frequently and has greatly enjoyed volunteering at many workaways, including cleaning and leading guests on tours at a hostel in Ireland and helping on a small farm in Italy. Kendall is a dedicated and enthusiastic worker, with a thirst for knowledge. 

Kendall and Shannon have worked at several workaways together including: working at a hostel as a cleaners and receptionists in Osaka, Japan, and gardeners/landscape assistants in Rutherglen, Australia.
