Hi! I’m Sian - a 29-year-old Software Engineer from Bristol, UK.

Outside of work, I love cooking (vegan), practising yoga, playing guitar, and bouldering. I’m also learning both German and Spanish, and I’m always keen to improve - especially through real-life conversations and cultural exchange.

Animal welfare is something I really care about, so I’d be especially excited to contribute to a Workaway project that aligns with those values.

I hold a TEFL qualification and previously spent time in Colombia teaching English, which I really enjoyed .

Currently, my German is at B2 level and my Spanish is around B1 - I'd love the chance to keep building on both!

I had a wonderful and peaceful time helping out. I spent three weeks there, I had two days off a week and worked five-hour days. Sian worked for us as a volunteer last summer. She did a great job working with one other volunteers, making sure the hostel was clean and the guests were welcomed and given a tour. I had a wonderful time staying for two weeks in such a beautiful location. The work mostly involved cleaning and welcoming guests. The hostel is "off-the-grid" and you really feel immersed in nature. I stayed with Clare, Pete and Chris (& the gorgeous kittens) for two weeks.
