Description
I am a 31 year young social worker, currently living in Leipzig/Germany, where i am working with people/ families with disabilities and cronical illnesses as my main job.
Once a week, i do as well a forest group with kids from primary school.
I enjoy nature and the outdoors a lot, i love hiking and being outside as much as possible.
This is why i did a certifitcate in nature education two years ago.
I worked in a forest kindergarden in my city for two years and absolutely loved it!
As well i am a qualified kids yoga teacher (with little experience but a lot of passion ;)).
Animals are, next to nature and being a quiet social person, very important in my life, too. I did several workaways in Spain in a streetdog project and an animal sanctuary in New Zealand. I want to become an animal assisted therapist/ social worker one day and would love to gain some experience in that field.
In my freetime, i find balance in going to the forest, doing yoga, swimming, running, longboarding, meditation and caring for my friends.
I do organize a group for young adults in griefing processes as well as a volunteer and am very interested in grief and mourning processes, mental health and resilience.
I eat vegan since many years and would be happy if that is possible during my workaway stays too! :)
Together with my girlfriend and on my own, i travelled a lot already.
This years we did a bike tour in Danemark and a big hiking trip in Austria and in Italy.
I really like the simple life and find deep joy in sleeping outside in my tent, dealing with the basics of life!
My head is thinking a lot about social justice in society, so i am a lot into queer politics, feminism, ableism, anti-racism etc. I deal with all those topics in my private and professional life and am always interested in other peoples opinions about it.
