Hi! I’m Airi from Japan🇯🇵, currently based in Aarhus, Denmark🇩🇰
I love the solitude and gentle kindness I find in traveling. 🍀

From the summer of 2025, I’m excited to start traveling again through Workaway to discover new ways of living and working!

I’ll be starting from Denmark and plan to visit Finland, Norway, Ireland, Portugal, and Turkey.
I’m open to learning, sharing, and trying new things — and I’m looking forward to meeting you! 🌈

✈️ Background

🇯🇵 In Japan, I worked as a picture book and magazine editor, and as a licensed elementary and junior high school teacher in Tokyo.
🇩🇰 In Denmark, I stayed at two folkehøjskoler and did Workaway at five different places, helping with children, art, farming, gardening, and more.
In 2025, I completed a one-year full-time course in Danish language and culture at a university in Aarhus and received a diploma.
