Description
Hey! I'm Aldo, a 20-year-old who’s been traveling for the past year or so, dreaming of eventually making it full-time while staying conscious of my impact and finding a way to leave a positive footprint behind me. That’s one of the main reasons I love volunteering, along with the chance to experience amazing things and learn from different ways of life.
Born and raised in Mexico City in an international, multilingual family, I always wanted to see the world. So after high school, I set off backpacking and working in Japan for three months, volunteering on a farm in Alaska for two, then hitchhiking through Europe for five months before settling in France, working as a waiter to save for future travels.
I'm amazed by the world we live in and passionate about nature, preservation, and global social issues. I want to travel and learn as much as I can so that, eventually, I can help create positive change.
I'll never say no to an adventure, the more out of my comfort zone, the better!
It's the chance to grow and experience new things which draws me to volunteering!

I love and can help with manual labor such as carpentry, building, painting and also more delicate work such as jewelry as I used to make and sell earrings and other pieces.
