Hi,
I'm Alena. I'm 19 years old and currently taking a gap year before starting university in October.
I love being outdoors and spending time in nature. After half a year of work and travel in Australia (mostly in the big cities) to improve my English, I would like to improve my French. I'd like to get away from the city and experience what it's like to live and work on a farm.
I love learning new things, discovering new places and getting to know a different culture. Other things I love are: meeting new people, painting, making music and plants.

J'adore être en plein air et passer du temps dans la nature. Après une demi-année de travail et de voyages en Australie (principalement dans les grandes villes) pour améliorer mon anglais, j'aimerais améliorer mon français. J'aimerais m'éloigner de la ville et découvrir ce que c'est que de vivre et de travailler dans une ferme.
J'aime apprendre de nouvelles choses, découvrir de nouveaux endroits et apprendre à connaître une culture différente. J'aime aussi rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, peindre, faire de la musique et les plantes.

As a Swiss, I had mandatory French lessons for 9 years at school, but I still cannot speak it fluently. I would like to improve it. En tant que Suisse, j'ai suivi des cours de français obligatoires pendant 9 ans à l'école, mais je ne parle toujours pas couramment cette langue. J'aimerais l'améliorer.

I am fluent in German and English. While I was at school I had a few mini jobs like babysitting, working in a restaurant or cleaning the dance room where I took dance classes. During my time in Australia I worked in the hospitality industry, so I'm good at working with people and cleaning. I don't have much work experience but I'm a quick learner.
