Description
In 2018 I quit my office job, sold everything and moved to a new country. After living in Thailand for over three years as an English teacher, I moved back to the US which I soon discovered does not feel like home any longer. After traveling for over a year to find where I want to settle, I decided on Sri Lanka. I fell in love with the nature, animals, people and weather here. I currently teach part-time online but am looking for different experiences through volunteer.
I enjoy being outdoors. I love hiking and anything involving the water (kayaking, surfing, swimming). I can build, renovate, garden, farm, care for animals, paint, and put my corporate skills to use (accounting, business consulting, etc.). I am always open to try new things and really enjoy meeting new people.

I am great with children and have worked with kids in many different ways (nanny, daycare, teacher) for over 15 years.
I previously worked as an Accountant where I developed skills in excel, QuickBooks, Zoho and Unanet
I am good with animals and they always seem to be drawn to me. I have had cats and dogs growing up but have always wanted to work with farm animals.
I have helped do construction work such as framework, roofing and drywalling.
I have also helped with landscaping and gardening.
I am always interested to learn new skills and put in the effort to be able to do any skill well.
