My name is Ana, I’m 27 years old, and I’m originally from Valladolid. I currently live in Barcelona, where I work as a graphic designer. At the moment, I’m doing workaway in Ireland. My first experience was in Glendalough's hostel and the second in a little farm. Now, I'm looking for a new experience, maybe in the south or west wild cost.

I consider myself an active, outgoing, and friendly person. I absolutely love traveling, and I had the chance to live in Italy for a year during my Erasmus exchange. It was an amazing experience to immerse myself in the culture and language. That’s why I’d love to repeat the experience, but this time in an English-speaking country.

Some of my hobbies include going to the mountains, enjoying nature, spotting animals, and camping outdoors. I’m also a big fan of live music and always on the lookout for new concerts or genres to explore. Oh! and i love traditional irish music! "Perhaps it could be a good time to discover it."

As for what I can bring to the volunteer opportunity, I’m a cheerful, adaptable person with a good sense of humor, always ready for new challenges. I’m also really passionate about cooking and love trying out recipes from different countries. Don’t worry, I’ll definitely treat you to a tasty Spanish tortilla or some delicious croquettes! 😊

I’ve been learning English since I was a child, starting in school and later attending language academies. However, what I feel I’m missing is the fluency you gain through actual conversation when you’re living in an English-speaking environment. For example, I learned Italian by speaking it a lot, without much focus on grammar at first, and that’s exactly what I’m hoping to do with English through this Workaway experience. I want to have the opportunity to speak English as much as possible to improve my fluency in conversation.

Although my professional experience has mainly been in graphic design and office-based work, I’m a very active person and really excited about shifting towards more physical tasks. I love being on the move, and after spending so much time sitting at a desk, I’m eager to get involved in work that lets me be more hands-on and learn new skills. I’m full of energy, I stay fit by working out 3 to 4 times a week, and I love cooking, so I can whip up some homemade dishes. I also get along very well with children and animals.

I have a strong technical background, having studied Engineering and completed a master’s degree, but my real passion lies in the creative field. I can assist with anything related to graphic design, such as creating corporate images, vinyls, and other visual projects. I also enjoy getting my hands dirty with creative and practical work.

I’m a team player and truly enjoy collaborating on projects that aim to make a positive impact and help others. I’m passionate about fighting for a better world and strongly believe in taking action to create a more sustainable and fair future.

I’m ready to jump into any task that comes my way, and I’m eager to learn and contribute wherever I can!
