We are a couple from Malaysia and Switzerland, Mylo & Julie, 32 and 29 years young, who are both passionate about human connection, traveling, exploration and in finding the meaning of life. Julie (speaking in a 3rd person point of view because we can) loves the sea, and being near water in general (Julie can swim), whereas Mylo is more of a mountain kind of guy (Mylo cant swim, so he likes spending time in the forest instead) boohooo!

We both decided to join work away, so we could connect with fellow travellers and be part of a community that has a root and anchor to a place that reminds us why life is worth living in the first place.

The only 2 countries we've been together is Thailand and Turkiye. Hopefully we'd get to explore more in time to come ;)

I have been learning Korean for a few years by myself, and I would love to get better at it ! Any advice and conversations would be a great pleasure. My first language is French, and English is another language is am good at, as my Master's program was in English. I would love to be able to help people with these two languages, as best as I can.

As I have worked in places ranging from bars, fast food places and shops, to cinemas and museums, I have a large range of skills that I can put to use. My job is mostly focusing on communications and curation lately, so I do have a few administrative and computer skills, such as with social media. However, I always like to work outside, and when I volunteer each summer for an open air cinema, I usually carry furnitures, cook for catering events, as well as build the decorations and serve at the bar. All my jobs have been closely related to the service industry, and so I have good skills in helping others and being in a social and team-oriented environment.
