Hello!

I'm Capres, a passionate, creative and inquisitive individual originally from London. I am a qualified yoga teacher (200RYT) in hatha, vinyasa and power yoga. I also teach English to students from Spanish and Arabic speaking backgrounds with a TEFL 120-hour certification.

I'm very interested in how we can shape our world through the arts, education and cross-cultural exchanges. I would describe myself as hard-working, courageous and kind. I enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life as it offers us the chance to learn new things, reflect and grow.

I'm finishing a master's in education policy and development, and focusing my research on how the arts are a useful tool to teach people about social justice and human rights issues. This involves curating an exhibition and sharing knowledge and information through its artistic output (in different mediums).

Listening, learning, and understanding is so important to me, as we are all constantly learning, growing and evolving... :D

Volunteer as a trustee and fundraising lead for Nisaba, a UK-based charity.
Worked for my university as a telephone fundraiser on a 3-week campaign, collectively, we raised over £40,000!
