We are currently

Description
We are currently cycling across Europe and Morocco for a few months (maybe a year!) and we are hoping to do some workaways during this big trip, for the opportunity to fully immerse in a community and in the culture of a place, rather than just visiting as tourists.
We are hardworking, friendly and chatty and love to contribute whatever we can to a project or place.
Between us we have done many different jobs during our lifetimes and have some basic woodworking, gardening, cooking and hospitality skills.
Cat works in health care as an occupational therapist, so is caring and a good communicator. Nick has had a wide range of jobs from educating kids in and out of schools, to being a general odd jobs man on worksites, so he's generally pretty flexible and able to pick up whatever work needs doing! He also previously managed a hostel and worked as a climbing and kayaking guide.
Other things about us -
Cat is mostly vegan, loves to explore, meeting new people, being in nature, and dancing, and cares a lot about social and environmental justice and fighting for a better world.
Nick is easy going, optimistic, and always helping people. He also cares deeply about the world and the people in it. He is playful and loves games!
We are both involved in activism and community projects back home and it would be great to find projects with the same values that we can contribute to while we are travelling.

We were fortunate to have Cat and Nic as volunteers. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude were infectious, especially when interacting with the children, which they did wonderfully.
They were always eager to help, and their integration into our community was seamless.

Mare was a wonderful workaway host! She accepted us at the last minute despite having lots going on in her life, and was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Her house is in a beautiful place with views of mountains and sea, and amazing stars at night.

I stayed here for almost 3 weeks and loved it! The work is very easy, the hostel is nice with a big kitchen, and I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers going out salsa dancing most nights and cooking food together. It was a really nice atmosphere!

This place was awesome! A beautiful spot right on the beach, an amazing group of travellers and locals which gave it a nice social atmosphere, the cutest puppies and kittens and very cheap diving. Perfect! Thad is doing a great thing teaching the locals how to dive, and the kids have so much fun doing it. Thanks for letting me stay Thad :)
