Hello! My name is Trace. I grew up in Minnesota, USA, in the city. I love cooking and sharing food with others, exercising, gardening, hiking, watching sunsets, reading, conversing, dancing, playing games, and learning. The spontaneity, adventure, and connections I make through traveling fill my heart. I hope to enhance life everywhere I go and think love is the greatest healing power on earth.
And now for some background. After one semester of University, studying aviation, I dropped out because I wanted to travel. First I worked for an airline so I could travel for free, then I became a behavioral therapist for kids with Autism. After that I got an online job and traveled for 3 years, taking breaks in the summers to visit home. I spent a season urban farming, and now have the travel bug again. I want to travel to learn better new to me cultures and how different peoples used to live off the land and grow community. I hope to grow myself and learn skills like carpentry, to make friends, to enjoy life, and to live in community.
I have experience with orchards, fruit tree care, nursery work, hostel work, homesteading, gardening, building, permaculture design, NGO aid work, community organizing, cooking, aviation, behavioral therapy, autism, and community living. I'm always studying permaculture in my free time because I think it is beautiful and helpful. Let me help you design for your needs!Interests

More details about your skills
I have some babysitting and daycare experience. In high school I received a liberal arts education. After that, I worked as a ramp agent at an international airport for 6 months. I have yard work experience, including some landscaping and painting. I am used to taking care of dogs. I've worked as a behavioral therapist with kids with Autism for 6 months. This has been very good for giving me skills with patience, working with kids, learning about Autism, and teaching. I have a TEFL certificate with no experience. I speak Spanish fluently. I have worked in two hostels, cooking, cleaning, and reception, and I have picked olives. I have experience with homesteads, and have read extensively about permaculture as well as experimented with building huglecultur beds and woodsheds. I tend to think in lines of permaculture philosophy.
