Hello! I'm Davie, and I am quitting my job in Northern California to travel the world for as long as I can. I love new adventures and learning about new places/communities. I am new to workaway, but I am a fast and enthusiastic learner; I'm eager to help in any way I can. Sometimes it takes a little time for me to come out of my shell, but I have an easy-going approach and I'm excited to push myself out of my comfort zone!

I enjoy baking, swimming, yoga, and any sort of hands on creative projects. I'd love to learn more about yoga practice, new recipes, and dancing... or basically any other skill/activity you'd like to pass along :)

I have many years of experience looking after people's homes, pets, and children. Pets include cats, dogs, fish, and chickens; I also have experience with children aged 1-8. Usually this also includes cleaning/general house maintenance, and sometimes gardening.

I love to help with improvement projects (painting, decorating, gardening) or anything creative and hands on! I have basic sewing capabilities, and a little experience with building and basic tools (drill, saw, etc), but I would likely need some guidance- I'm a quick study though :)

I have been working in non-profit and education for the last ~2 years; this includes experience with fundraising, administrative work, and some grant writing.

I went to university for communications/media, so I'd be happy to help build an online presence, or do any sort of editing and proofing.

Essentially, I have dabbled in many areas, and would be happy to help with almost anything!

I have a longtime love of photography and film, which unfortunately, in recent times, has been a much smaller part of my life than I prefer. Although I won't be able to bring my big DSLR camera, I hope that my travels will involve reacquainting myself with this hobby.

I also love to read, go for walks, and most of all, swim!
