Description
Hello lovely hosts!
My name is Ellie. I live in London and work as a musician, performing in bars and at events around the UK. I grew up in the countryside, surrounded by animals, with over 20 chickens, acres of land where we grow all our own fruits and vegetables, and even 10 beehives! Being close to nature and working with animals has always been a big part of my life, and it’s something I’d love continue through volunteering.
At the moment, I am travelling through Europe in my little SUV, just seeing where the wind takes me! I'm thinking France, Spain, Italy Croatia, Slovenia.... and I'll just see where I end up!
I’m also excited to bring along my wonderful dog, Olive. He’s fully trained, vaccinated, and absolutely adores being around people and other animals. We’re both ready to experience new things, meet new friends, and dive into whatever tasks are needed. I believe that the best way to grow and learn is to fully immerse yourself in new experiences, which is why I want to volunteer!
On a Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I work as an online tutor from 5pm till 9pm, but am otherwise entirely free to do any jobs that need doing!
From helping with animals, working in the garden, or learning new skills, I’m ready to get stuck in. For me, it’s not just about traveling but truly experiencing life in new places and connecting with people. Olive and I can’t wait to start this new adventure and create some amazing memories along the way!Languages spoken

More details about your skills
I love working with animals and am very comfortable caring for them, whether it’s feeding, cleaning, or just spending time with them. I love being in nature - I have done several week-long hikes through the Alps and plan on doing the Santiago de Compostela next Summer.
While completing my studies, I also worked as a primary school teacher, which has made me great at getting along with people of all ages and backgrounds. I’m friendly, adaptable, and really enjoy being part of a team. I’m also a quick learner and always happy to roll up my sleeves and work hard, whether it’s with animals, in the garden, or trying something completely new.
I also have an clear enhanced DBS certificate for working with children and vulnerable people.
I speak German and am excited to travel and volunteer across Europe, immersing myself fully in each experience.Age

I’m also really passionate about sustainable living and self-sufficiency. Growing up with a focus on raising our own food and caring for animals has given me a deep appreciation for a more eco-friendly lifestyle, and I’m excited to learn even more about sustainable farming and living practices through volunteering.
More than anything, I’m looking forward to meeting new people, sharing experiences, and building meaningful connections along the way. Some more information
