Description
We live in Colorado Springs, CO, and both work in education.
Evan-I'm 32 and have worked as a 7th grade Social Studies teacher, K-8 camp counselor, and tutor. I also paint houses and enjoy working on houses and gardens. I play drums and guitar and love discovering new artists!
Darolyn - I'm 36 and have worked in non-profits and education for over 10 years. I love working with young people and enjoying the outdoors. I also have experience with helping survivors of abuse and believe in women's empowerment. I currently teach Sociology and work at a community college.

Evan-I've worked in K-12 education or at summer camps for 15 years. I like working with all ages, and have the most experience working with 6th-8th grade. I teach Social Studies and have some experience teaching English-both to native speakers and English Language Learners.
I have a lot of experience painting-both interior and exterior. I also enjoy working outside and don't mind getting my hands dirty or doing physically intense jobs.
Darolyn-I've worked with youth for over a decade. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ identities and at-risk youth. I also have worked in domestic violence and sex education. I have a background in Sociology and have taught in higher education. I like working with teens most but appreciate working with all ages.
