Hi, in my twenties I travelled the world working on different projects. I mostly worked with children, gardening and cooking. I'm now in my fifties and at a point in my life where I can travel and get involved with exciting projects again. I am plant-based and last year I completed a 3 year course in naturopathic nutrition. I am now working as a nutritionist and continuing to study with an emphasis on nutrigenomics. During the last year, I have spent time working on farms in the Caribbean and have loved learning about the Caribbean and helping to grow all sorts of plant foods that I had never come across before. I am interested in working on farms again and also with children or animals. Also very interested in eco-communities and spiritual retreats. Really excited at the prospect of being involved with progressive projects and interesting people.

More details about your skills
I have spent the last few years working as a teaching assistant in a primary school. Prior to this, I have lived and worked in a refugee reception centre (in England) working with families and especially doing activities with the children. I have spent two summers working for Frontiers Foundation in the youth centres in Cree communities.
I have recently been volunteering at a market garden - weeding, planting, sowing seeds, etc. I have been cooking plant-based whole foods for the last few years. I am about to finish a three year course in Naturopathic Nutrition and hope to upgrade the course to a degree this summer. I'm really interested in the nutrition and therapeutic properties of food and am also particularly interested in healthy plant-based diets and the effects of food, genes and the gut biome on conditions such as autism.
I have done a couple of silent Vipassana meditation retreats. I am extremely rusty in Tai Chi, yoga, etc but very interested in taking them up again.
Having my own (now grown up) children, brought a procession of animals into my life and I now have experience with cats, dogs, pigs, goats, geese, horses, squirrels and hedgehogs.Age

What else ...
I took up paddle boarding last year which I love.
I love board games - chess, Risk, cards, the wonderful Dutch game Keer Op Keer and anything really.
I spent my early teens playing football which I hardly ever get to do anymore but I still enjoy it when I do. I also like badminton and tennis.
Exercising and keeping fit - pilates, yoga, tai chi. Some more information
