We’re Gül (25) and Emily (22), two friends from Germany who love exploring new places and learning from others. We’re open-minded, reliable, and enjoy working in a team. What excites us most is being part of everyday life in different cultures and contributing in meaningful ways. Whether it’s gardening, cooking, cleaning, or small DIY tasks – we’re happy to help wherever we’re needed. We both value kindness, curiosity, and respect, and we’re motivated to make a positive impact while learning from those around us. For us, Workaway is not just about traveling, but about genuine cultural exchange, connection, and shared experiences. We love hearing people’s stories, discovering local traditions, and becoming part of a new community, even for a short time. Both of us have experiences in babysitting not only because the two of us are older sisters, but also because we both used to babysit the kids of neighbors and friends of the family . One of our favorite things to do is cooking, everything else you have to do around the house we are able to do aswell. In our free time both of us enjoy creating things and doing different kind of DIY Projects.
Another field we both experienced in is working as waitresses in restaurants, cafes and pubs.
