Hi! My name is Jade. I'm 24 and from London, UK. I studied languages and culture at university and am super passionate about travel and meeting and connecting with people from all over the world!
In the last year I've spent 6 months in SE Asia and 3 months in Brazil, and have fallen in love with the idea of full-time travel. Now I'm planning even more adventures in South America, and I can't wait to see what incredible experiences and friendships are in store for me this time!

Language exchange is a big part of why I love doing Workaways! I am TEFL.org and CELTA qualified to teach English as a foreign language, and have been building up my teaching experience through workaways and volunteer jobs during my travels. So far I have been involved with teaching projects in the UK, Vietnam, Indonesia and Brazil. As well as teaching languages, I also love learning them. I have varying proficiency in Portuguese, Russian and French, and am also always keen to try to pick up new languages wherever I am travelling!

I love both learning and teaching languages - and this is my main area of expertise! I have a degree in Modern Languages and Cultures, and am TEFL.org and CELTA qualified.

I also have a lot of work experience in hospitality, particularly as a bartender and barista. I have also done waitressing, events work, and tour guiding in London, and have a lot of experience working with children. I also consider myself a very creative person, and I love meeting and talking with new people!
