Helpful, hopeful, and hardworking, I'm a harmlessly eccentric, adaptable adventurer. I also happen to be a teacher, coach, mentor, and would-be muse who seeks to inspire lifelong learning within a caring, sharing community. Teaching, coaching, and encouraging anything related to English, tennis, good design, animal care, organization, and creativity bring me joy. For some reason, even if I know only a little about something, I am able to teach it !!! I LOVE helping people learn! Using my degree in English, I taught oral English quite successfully for many years in China after teaching college English and an extensive tennis coaching career. I have designed offices, interiors, and outdoor spaces that efficiently suit how their occupants use them. I edit and proofread, but I prefer helping others write. My friends admire my organizational skills, and I admit that organizing, cleaning, and keeping things in order bring me great satisfaction.

I absolutely LOVE learning !!! There are very few things I don't enjoy, so bring it on !!! I'm not much of a cook, but I'm a pro at cleaning up! IF there's challenge of any kind, I'll be right there helping to find a solution.
