Greetings!

I am really excited to spend this spring and summer learning, working hard, and sharing stories.

I am hard working, open-minded and precise, with three seasons of farm experience in my home country of Canada. I dream of expanding my knowledge about fruit tree maintenance, care for sheep and cows, and general gardening know-how. I love to read (the classics, philosophy, poetry), sing and play music (clarinet, piano, dulcimer), dance, and write.

I am an editor of a very small non-profit magazine in Canada called ISKRA, so I will need a bit of internet for that. That takes up maximum 8 hours a week and can be done in the evenings. Because it is a monthly publication there are some weeks when I do not need to work at all. This magazine (which I am happy to share information about) is dear to my heart and I appreciate being able to continue with it.

I am originally from the West Coast of Canada but have lived in Europe for around seven years now. I study at the Art Academy in Vienna but am taking a bit of a break. I am not a city person and therefore am particularly interested in those of you who have managed to bring art and culture into the countryside in whatever way.

Theology is a huge interest of mine and I hope to visit some ’spiritual projects’ as well. I guess I’d call myself a non-denominational Christian who draws a lot from the Torah, the Bhagavad Gita, the Dao de Jing, Kabbalah and Christian Mysticism. I'd love to discuss in this direction if it is of any interest to you.

I am a huge lover of the English language and will always be open to teaching it, although I am no pedagogue! My German is quite good, but I like to make up a lot of grammar ;-) The next language I want to improve is definitely French, it is really challenging for me.
