I have lived in the lake district in northern England all my life. I feel extremely luck to have lived in such a beautiful part of the world. Growing up here surrounded by the mountains and lakes has made me a really keen hiker/camper and really appreciate the countryside and environment and how it should be looked after. I am certainly happiest when hiking through the mountains or swimming in the lakes.
My sense of adventure has lead me to travel the world which is a dream come true. I'm a confident, outgoing and social person and after travelling solo on an off for the last couple of years those qualities are even stronger. I'm happy to get involved in all different kinds of work and learn new skills along the way. Learning my trade from a young age has also made me a hard worker. I love to meet new people and experience different cultures. I also love animals and pets and jump at the chance to look after my friends or families pets when they are away. I have recently finished 1 year working in the Antarctic region for the British Antarctic survey. Working there tought me a lot about the outdoors and surviving in extreme environments and also how to keep myself busy with long periods of isolation.

Qualified electrician but worked for a company installing fire alarms, security alarms, cctv, emergency lighting and access systems. I worked for the same company for 18 years and I have a very practical brain and as a result I'm good at problem solving and always work hard whatever the task. Also love to help my friends and family with little projects such as decking Gardens and building fences etc. My latest job was for the British Antarctic survey where I was the facilities technician on a research base for 1 year. Jobs included keeping generators and boilers running and water supplies topped up as well as hiking around the island helping scientists with there research. 1st aid trained and helped with search and rescue training on the island. I also completed my online tefl level 3 course (teaching English in a foreign language)

I'm from the North of England surrounded by lakes and mountains. Hiking and camping is something I've been brought up on and it's definitely when I'm at my happiest
