  • Description

I'm 23 years old and currently doing my Master's ("climate change and societal transformation") in Vienna. I truly love my studies, however, life in the city is not my favorite. To recharge during the weekends, I go on long walks in the forest, read a lot, paint or do photography.

Still, I miss the feeling of being dusty, exchausted and deeply happy after a day of work on a farm, and the enriching exchange that happens when I get to stay with another community or family and experience their culture.
I can hardly wait to set off on my next adventure...

    What others say about me:
    - I am empathetic, reliable and open-minded
    - I have a positive energy and make others see the little things in life
    - I am self-reflective and enjoy deep conversations about shaping a better world
    - I have a good sense for the broader picture and see where work is needed
    - I don't hesitate to get my hands dirty
    - I eager to learn new things and become good at new skills quickly

  • More details about your skills

I love to work with animals and treat them respectfully and tender. With our family dog, I went to dog sports and companion dog training for several years. That means I know how to be consequent, but that it often requires very little to make an animal understand what you want to tell them. Growing up, I also cared for my rabbits and took riding lessons.

During my workaway on a horse ranch, I became a poop-picking-expert, and I thoroughly enjoyed brushing and saddling the horses. The greatest reward to me was, however, learning about natural horsemanship. That being said, I have some experience with riding but I'm definitely not a professional rider and rather an experienced beginner - and I am so keen on getting better, in both ground work, my seat (still a challenge in trot and gallop), and riding aids.

I have some experience in small-scale gardening, weeding and farming - and know a lot about sustainability due to my studies :). I also have some basic handy skills from smaller building projects (designing and building a rabbit hutch, raised bed and wood storage for our garden, some DIY furniture and painting walls...) and I would love getting better in renovating.

And last but not least: I can bake glutenfree sourdough bread, cook delicious vegan/vegetarian meals (I also know a lot about anti-inflammatory / healthy diet), love to share my skills in arts and crafts, and have good conversations about everything that is going on in the world.

      No

    • Special dietary requirements
Since I have celiac disease, I need to follow a strictly glutenfree diet. We can talk about that, but no worries, I am selfsufficient in cooking for myself :D. I also mostly eat vegan but vegetarian is also fine for me.
