Looking for nice hosts in Namibia who I can support on a farm
Description
Malte:
Hello, I'm Malte and I'm 24 years old. I come from Germany (Osnabrück) and grew up on a farm with 150 cows, pigs, dogs and chickens. We also farmed 100 hectares of land.
I love farm life and nature. I have not been abroad that often and would like to gain some experience abroad now. I love getting to know new people, cultures and countries. I am very open and happy to learn new things. I can quickly adapt to new environments and I would like to actively support my host family in their work and learn many new things from them
Tessa:
My motivation for traveling abroad is definitely to gain valuable new experiences and to get to know new people, cultures and countries. The diverse and varied nature in particular inspires me and makes me happy, as I like to spend a lot of time outdoors. Working with animals also makes me feel happy. I enjoy looking after them and caring for their well-being because it fulfills me.Interests

Malte:
Because I have always helped on the farm at home since I was a small child, I know a lot about farm life.
Two years of agricultural training and three years of agricultural science studies have given me a lot of knowledge about farming. I can work very well with animals like cows, pigs or chickens.
I can help with the daily care and feeding of the animals as well as health checks.
I had 50 chickens myself in the past which I looked after and also slaughtered and sold.
Having a farm at home means I can farm and grow crops on the land. My grandmother's large vegetable garden taught me how to provide myself with food.
My father taught me how to repair things and how to maintain the frame. I also go with my father together hunting. We have a small hunt with deer, pheasants, hares and wild boar
Tessa:
I am particularly good at working in a team. I can quickly familiarize myself with new situations involving people and work independently. I am very hardworking and can see the work that needs to be done. A special skill is my open and honest way of communicating, whether questions or comments, I always address them directly. When it comes to animals, I am very good with horses as I have spent my whole life with them. Be it from breaking in to training to leisurely rides. Thanks to my years of experience, I can read and understand horses very well. I am also very good with other animals such as cows, cats, dogs and chickens, as we have animals at home and I have gained experience with dairy cows through internships. I am very determined and always carry out my tasks to the best of my ability and conscience. I learn quickly and enjoy challenges.Age
