Hi there! My name is Mariam, I am 27 years old, from Spain.
About me!
I'm passionate about discovering new cultures, meeting people from all over the world, and exploring new places.
I speak English, Spanish and Italian. I started learning Japanese very recently and I’m also learning some French. I’d love to do a language exchange !
I have an international drivers license.
My professional background is in the corporate sector, where I’ve worked for 3 years before I decided to quit my job to travel and discover a new career path. However, I've also had experience volunteering in construction projects and working in hostels and also as a bartender and shop assistant, where I’ve learned many valuable skills.
I did a winter season in Japan where I did housekeeping and taking care of guests. I also worked at a pizza restaurant there and I loved it!
I enjoy working with other people and creating a positive environment for guests, clients and colleagues. I consider myself a very hardworking and responsible person but I’m always trying to bring good vibes and good humour to everything I do.
I also love to work with kids! I have worked many times in the past as a nanny, as a private tutor, as an instructor in summer camps, I’ve organised many birthday parties for children and I’ve even worked as a ski instructor in Spain for 5 y/o kids.
I’m also an outdoor enthusiast and love staying active. Some of my favourite activities include hiking, skiing, running, and swimming. I’m always eager to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors wherever I go.
I’m a city lover too since I come from a big city like Madrid and I love sightseeing and exploring around!
