Description

This is Mario, a Spanish adventurer, and I’ve been travelling, working, and volunteering for a while around Australia and SE Asia, after having done the same around Latin America.
I have a digital communication background (marketing, social media, photography), and in the last few years, I’ve been pivoting towards environmentally conscious (hands-on) projects. From permaculture eco-villages to woodwork in an eco-friendly hostel, to working with animals, to developing a climate change media outlet and communication strategies for NGOs and activist groups.
I’ve recently discovered diving, and it has been the last step in my obsession with the oceans. I am truly eager to continue to explore it underwater and become a marine conservationist, and also to start learning sailing so I can be my true sea-self!
I hope to continue travelling around Asia and volunteering in sustainable or cultural projects for the rest of 2025

🐔 Travelled most of the East Coast of Australia with a trailer full of baby goats and piglets
🧜🏽‍♀️ Dove in Thailand, Tasmania (seals!) and Indonesia (whale sharks!)
🌎 Travelled around Latin America for a year, taking part in several projects, hiking volcanoes, sailing the Amazon river, snorkelling in the Caribbean and doing my best at samba
⛺ I love traveling combining hiking and camping

🚐 Traveled through the north and south of Spain in a caravan with my family

🇨🇦 When I was 15 years old I went on an exchange to Canada. After taking a canoe trip for weeks, I spent a few months living with a Canadian family, and we’re still in touch!
