Hey, I’m Melody! Some friends call me Mel, Chika, Mrs. Reeves, or whatever feels right. I’m a video editor, skater, diver, adventurer, creator, toy collector, and—hopefully—a future pro filmmaker.

I studied English as my major in university, so I’m fluent in both English and Mandarin. If anyone is interested in learning Mandarin, I’d be happy to teach! I have experience teaching Mandarin before when I was in the U.S., so I can definitely help with conversational practice or even basic writing and reading. At the same time, I’m always open to learning new languages and improving my communication skills. I love cultural exchange and believe that language is one of the best ways to connect with people from different backgrounds!

I come from a family of craftsmen—both my grandfather and father are carpenters, so I grew up around tools and hands-on projects. I love DIY and often customize my own skateboards, adding my creative touch to them.

I have work experience in a greenhouse in Taiwan, where I assisted with planting, maintaining crops, and handling general farm tasks. This gave me hands-on experience in physical labor, teamwork, and working efficiently in different environments.

As a video editor and content creator, I have experience working with various editing software and storytelling techniques. I enjoy bringing ideas to life through visuals and am always eager to learn new skills in media production.

I’m also a diver and adventurer, comfortable adapting to new environments and working in different conditions. Whether it’s physical labor, creative projects, or general help around a place, I’m always up for a challenge!

I love meeting new people, exchanging skills, and making the most of every experience. Whatever the task, I’m happy to contribute and learn along the way!

When I’m not working on videos or exploring new places, I love skateboarding, collecting toys, and diving into creative projects. I enjoy DIY-ing my own skateboards, giving them a unique twist with custom designs. I also have experience working in a greenhouse in Taiwan, which gave me a deeper appreciation for plants and hands-on work.

I enjoy a good movie night—particularly anything related to adventure, sci-fi, or classic cinema. I believe in making the most out of life, meeting new people, and embracing new experiences!
