Hey! I’m Merel (24 years old) from Delft in the Netherlands. I am currently studying a Master's in Sustainable Development in Uppsala, Sweden. I previously had a gap year in which I traveled in Europe, Türkiye and Morocco and combined this with gaining volunteering experiences in areas like organic farming, an ecovillage, helping students with English and more.
To describe myself, I see myself as an open minded person interested in a broad range of things. I like traveling and meeting people from all over the world to broaden my vision and world. Combined with that I love helping others and volunteering. Furthermore, I am passionate about sustainability and like being outdoors and doing things like hiking, cycling, camping, gardening, sports, football and so much more :)

I'm seen as a dedicated and patient person. I have experience with sustainability (I studied it). And I have been involved in some charity projects (fundraising, clothing collection) and joined building an ecovillage in Holland. I also have some experience with gardening and growing food and volunteered at an organic farm. Furthermore, I speak Dutch and English fluently, and would like to teach or help out with those languages.
