Hello! My name is Nicola and I am a 23 year old Polish-American with a wide range of interests. Traveling and immersing myself into different lifestyles and cultures brings me the utmost happiness in life. I stay motivated by knowing that there are skills to be learned, people to be met, and special experiences to be had. I love bonding over food and sharing a meal with others (the closer to its source, the better). I am my most happy either in nature or when people share their interests and stories with me because it is beautiful seeing the complexity of life.

I am super interested in learning new languages! I grew up in a bilingual household (English and Polish) and for the past four years, I have been learning Italian. In fact, I studied abroad at the University of Bologna and all my classes were in Italian! I would love to be in an environment where I can utilize my language skills or learn the basics of a different language!

Farmwork- My family in Poland have a farm with turkeys, cows, and fields of grain. I am familiar with a farmer's routine and the hard work that goes into each day. I have experience with gardening and harvesting!
Cooking- Thanks to my mother, I grew up with home cooking all my life. Under my belt, I have knowledge of basic Polish, Mexican, and Italian recipes.
English Language Teaching- I have past experience teaching English to kids in Italy aged 6-8. Additionally, I was a tutor to refugee children in Chicago with low English proficiency.
I studied philosophy and psychology in a prestigious liberal arts school in California. I love teaching and discussing philosophy, art, music, and alternative lifestyles.

I enjoy card games a lot. I can hike for miles and miles due to the sublimity of nature and my genetically quite muscular calves. I like sports and some competitive play every once in a while. I love going to the cinema, concerts, and festivals! I need some exercise or yoga to harness peace in my body and mind.
