Description
I was a university public health researcher for a career and the past few years I've been traveling, working, and living in remote and exotic places and have integrated with lots of different kinds of people and cultures including as a US Peace Corps Volunteer living in a remote village for 2 years. I'm always interested to listen and learn. I love to see a sunrise in the morning or an evening sunset and to see both is an exceptional day! I read, write and knit and like to cook especially with others.

More details about your skills
On weekends I was always in my garden, creating flower and plant beds or tending a vegetable garden. I've also done landscaping, hand-dug my own fishpond, terracing, dealing with drainage issues, etc. I also volunteered on an organic co-op farm for a season, in large fields planting, weeding, harvesting. I have lots of experience helping with DIY projects around a home and can be a good assistant. I've painted my own two story house, both inside and outside. I refinished furniture. I'm a natural teacher and can help with English language and literacy skills.
