I am motivated first and foremost by connection. I have traveled a lot in my lifetime, but feel most happy when I am immersed in the local culture and have an opportunity to give back to the place I am visiting instead of just taking. I prefer to slow travel and take my time in a place. It's so exciting for me to interact with different cultures and experience different ways of living.

I am most happy when in movement, so any activity that stretches the limits of my body is my happy place. I am currently learning to surf. I also love to hike, bike, dance, and could walk for hours. When I'm not moving around in nature you can find me writing, strumming my ukulele, meditating, cooking for loved ones, or chatting with old friends.
