Hey, I'm Oscar from Malaysia. I am a traveller who focus on language exchange and cultural exchange, what always motivates me is the opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives and contribute to interesting project or community. Seeing the joy and relief on someone's face after helping them is incredibly rewarding. The sense of purpose and connection with others keeps me passionate and driven as a volunteer.
My main job is software developer, previously I have helpx experience for volunteer in New Zealand as a fruit seller, we help the eco farm owner filter the fruit and sell the fruit to the local residents, I was inspired by them how they living sustainably by minimising waste, and composting, as well as diy house. Besides, I also worked in New Zealand as a Kiwifruit Grader back in 2017.
