Hey, my name is Rachel and I'm very passionate about sustainability and conservation! I grew up on a farm in Illinois, USA where we raised cattle, pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, and we grew corn and soybeans. In addition to my farming background, I had three majors relating to Agriculture Policy during undergrad and I last worked as an economist in Washington, DC.

I play a few instruments in my free time, love interesting conversation, and am always excited to get my hands dirty for a project! :)

Growing up on a farm, I'm very experienced in animal care and a bit experienced in gardening. I'm a fast learner and know quite a bit of agricultural jargon. I also love public speaking!

On the digital side, I am proficient in Microsoft Suite, I have written on behalf of organizations in several positions, and I am skilled in graphic design/social media communications.
