  • Description

I am currently in my first year of law school at the Université de Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada. I am interested in international and immigration law and hope to travel a lot in my career, while helping vulnerable individuals get justice around the world.
I also graduated with a Bachelors in History from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, making me interested in various histories from groups around the world. I also have a strong interest in world politics and international relations. I am a very curious person and I love to explore. I am independent but I also love to meet new people!
I enjoy the outdoors, and some of my hobbies include hiking and spending time at the beach, when the weather allows it (Canada can get sooo cold). I also work as a deckhand on a sailing ship in Halifax. This job gave me a whole new appreciation for living near the water and taught me very cool skills, such as how to raise a sail on a tall ship!
Another one of my hobbies is fitness. I make sure to keep an active lifestyle by going to the gym and attending fitness classes.
My first language is French, but I also speak perfect English!

  • More details about your skills

I have experience with children, having babysat for several years. I also have volunteered with summer camps for immigrant children at a multicultural association in my hometown. Through that association, I've also tutored both children and young adults who were new to Canada in English and in French, facilitating their intergration in my home country. In fact, teaching both of these languages is something in which I am quite experienced with and would love to do internationally.
Through my work and extra curricular experience, I have gained experience in organizing events, team building, fundraising, etc. For example, I've built social media strategies to grow a non-for-profit organization in my hometown that aims to reduce the spread of STBBIs such as HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C.
I am also a generally curious person, being a student of history I have learned to do extensive research of primary sources from various countries, such as Russia, Chile, Ghana, Italy and many many more.
