Hello! Our names are Casey Plas and Troy Hirst and are new to Workaway. We are a young, fun, and friendly couple from the U.S.A. We are motivated to travel because we want to immerse ourselves in new experiences through connecting with others and exploring beautiful places. We are happiest spending quality time with quality people! Casey has studied abroad in Italy during college and Troy has visited Romania to see his family.

We're excited to find opportunities where we can lend a helping hand and participate in local culture first hand. Whether it’s helping on a farm, assisting in a hostel, or participating in community projects, we are ready for new adventures and experiences.

Troy graduated from a vocational school with a two year degree in Web & Graphic Design, has experience with landscaping and outdoor maintenance while working for the Lorain County Metro Parks, is learning how to cook, is an aspiring actor/writer and has experience working on a film set. He is currently a parking lot supervisor/vehicle photographer. In general, a Jack of all trades.

Casey graduated from Berea College and studied studio art with a concentration in drawing and painting. She also studied art history and business administration. She has experience working in a ceramic studio producing bowls, mugs, tiles, and plates. She grew up in a big family and loves taking care and spending time with children. Casey is currently a sales marketer and has customer service skills.
