Hello everyone!

My name is Vojta, I'm 21 years old and I come from the Czech Republic. I'm currently doing my bachelor's degree in the lovely Swedish student town of Lund. Before I started university, I took a gap year and did a working holiday in New Zealand, which was an amazing experience. I got to explore new places and cultures, meet new people and try new things, and I discovered my passion for doing all of that. I'm so grateful that Workaway has allowed me to do all that at the same time while helping others, which is why I would really love to continue my Workaway experience this summer!:)

I have completed four Workaway stays in the past, focusing primarily on garden work and general household tasks. One of these included helping to build a family house, and I have also taken care of two young boys and some pets.I really enjoy working outdoors and have no problem with tough physical work.

I have worked and volunteered in three different countries (Czechia, New Zealand and Sweden). In New Zealand, I worked as a sales assistant in a clothing store, dealing with customers and learning to work under pressure. I am currently volunteering with student associations as a bartender or helping to prepare lunches and various different events while studying. I have also worked as a children's athletics coach in the Czech Republic.

I was really lucky to have David as my first workaway host. I stayed with him with small breaks for almost three weeks.
