  We are sorry to say that due to work permit requirements, we are not able to consider applications from non-EU citizens for seasonal summer work. That includes U.K applicants who do not have additional EU citizenship.
  
  We are Will (46) and Saira (37), and we are a British couple. Six years ago we moved to Slovenia from London with our two small children after falling in love with the nature and way of life of this beautiful country. We packed up our London flat and relocated close to Lake Bled to renovate an old house and turn it into a small hotel.
  
  Once we moved here, we were really lucky to make some brilliant friends who run an amazing eco campsite on the banks of the Sava River, close to Lake Bled and Radovljica.
  
  We renovated a small traditional caravan into a vintage bar and now every year we run Rex's Bar at the campsite. We serve coffee, smoothies, beer, wine, cocktails, breakfast and dinner to happy, hungry campers.
  
  It's a busy and fast-paced business (despite the generally slow way of living here!). This is a role for workawayers who would like to work in a customer-facing job, meeting lots of new people, and possibly learning some new cooking and cocktail- making skills!
  
  There is a shift pattern of 5 shifts per week, for approximately 6 hours per shift, so that is the sort of work commitment we are looking for.
  
  We need people who are equally comfortable serving guests, making food and cleaning up afterwards- and who can bring some fun and personality to our bar! If that sounds like you - please get in touch.
  
  Please also note: the bar is only 185 cm high inside, so anyone taller than that will not enjoy working in the bar .

  But we can provide a tent and bedding for those who are travelling without a vehicle. If you own a campervan, we can provide you with a spot at the camp.
  
  We're looking for people who would like to stay and help in a beautiful, unspoilt natural environment, gain some catering and hospitality experience and have time to explore the surroundings. Some food service or hospitality experience would be helpful, but if you are willing to learn then we can teach you everything you need to know.
  
  Contact us if you feel connected with nature and enjoy the simple things in life - listening to the river flowing, fresh, vegetarian food, delicious cocktails, brilliant conversations and falling asleep underneath the night sky full of stars.
  
  HELP MOSTLY INCLUDES:
  - bar work and food service (communicating with our guests, taking orders, managing transactions)
  - simple food and drink preparation
  - cleaning & other tasks to maintain the standards of the bar and surrounding areas - this a responsibility shared by everyone
  -making sure guests have a great time! (lighting the campfire, playing good music, recommending holiday activities)
  
  We offer minimum wage payment (calculated after basic accommodation costs), free tea or coffee each morning, one meal per shift, and a beer or wine when you want it.

  We are located very close to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj as well as close to the capital city - Ljubljana so there are lots of opportunities to explore and spend your free time relaxing, sightseeing or trying some adventure sports. Our location is in the middle of lots of beautiful hiking trails and close to a train station with easy access to the local town and to Ljubljana.
