Hello,
I am Ana and I am nomad. I enjoy traveling and working simultaneously and I feel at home wherever I go.
Exploring different cultures, meetin new people and finding out new perspectives in life brings me joy, contentment and inspires me.
I speak Romanian (as mother tongue), English (I did my master degree in the UK) and I am currently learning Spanish for academic purposes.
I am a visual artist, with knowledge and passion in engraving techniques and woodcuts, painting, wall painting and more. As a profession I am a painter with experience in working with galeries. I have a master in fine arts, and i gathered more experience in conceptual art and curatorial studies during the post graduate programme.
As second job/profession (because as artist you never know what happens) I am a yoga instructor with 5 years experience in sharing my knowledge of hatha yoga, alignment, pranayama and various types of meditation like vipassana, walking meditation, Buddhist meditation, thangka painting (even though is a painting style, involves a lot of concentration and meditation upon a certain deity), visualisation and much more. As a practitioner, I am following my yogic practice since 8 years daily.
I ve been previously living in India for 3 years, time in which I deepen my knowledge upon yogic practices, lived in ashrams, learned thangka painting in dharamshala (where Dalai Lama is living) and started a hemp clothing business, while in the same time collaborating with galleries for exhibitions.
As I am nomad, while I was travelling in Europe I volunteered in various retreat centres and campings (usually I found them while staying there and looking for opportunities in the area I was residing at the moment).
I respect Nature and its beauty more than enything and I am doing my best always to take care of my surroundings, as it is an extension of my body.
Shortly, I deal with beauty and my practice is being. I enjoy sharing and exchanging experiences and knowledge with others. I deeply believe that we are here, on this planet together to help and support each other. That's why I am here.
