Hey there! :)
We’re a couple from Germany – I’m 20 and my boyfriend is 23 – currently on a little adventure through Western Europe, just enjoying life, nature, and the chance to learn something new every day.
What really makes us happy? Being outside, breathing fresh air, moving our bodies, and getting our hands dirty – whether it’s hiking through the mountains, helping out in the garden, or just soaking in a quiet sunset after a good day’s work.
I’m more the calm, creative one – I love painting, designing things digitally, and playing volleyball when I get the chance. In October, I’ll start studying Media Design.
My boyfriend is a total metalwork/physics/chemistry nerd (in the best way) – he loves building things, fixing stuff, and coming up with smart little inventions.
We’ve already done a road trip through Italy and realized: we love discovering new places, meeting new people, and contributing wherever we can. We’re open-minded, motivated, and always ready to lend a hand – whether it’s in the garden, on a building project, or in creative tasks.
We’re excited to share stories, learn from others, and hopefully leave every place a little better than we found it. Looking forward to hearing from you!Intereses

Anna: Languages have always fascinated me because they open the door to new cultures, ideas, and people. My native language is German, and through school I’ve developed a solid understanding of English, along with some basics in French and Latin. Right now, I’m learning Portuguese – and really enjoying the challenge! I’ve always been curious about other ways of life and love being able to connect with people from different backgrounds. Being able to speak even just a few words in someone’s language can create such a special connection. I’ll admit, learning languages hasn’t always come easy to me – I sometimes need a bit more time – but I’m very open to learning more. I believe practice and real conversations are the best teachers, and I’m always excited to improve and pick up new languages along the way. Elias: I speak German fluently and have already learned some English, which I would like to improve further. For me, learning a language is not only about grammar and vocabulary — it’s about understanding cultures and building bridges between people. I’m also happy to help others who want to learn German. Since it’s my native language, I would enjoy teaching it and sharing tips to make the process easier. Language exchange is a great way to learn from each other and grow together.Habilidades y conocimientos que queremos compartir o aprender

A bit about us:
Anna:
Hi! My name is Anna, and I’m an open-minded, down-to-earth person who loves getting involved, being creative, and learning new things. I’m always excited to meet new people and experience different ways of life.
I grew up surrounded by animals and my two big brothers and my big sister (which is also kind of like living with wild animals) – we always had pets at home, including rabbits that I hand-raised with a bottle. I’ve spent many late nights searching for escapees in the garden!
Every weekend as a child, I visited my grandmother’s small farm with cows, chickens, cats, and a very loyal farm dog. I loved walking through the forest with him for hours, which sparked my deep love for animals and nature early on.
Camping and being outdoors is something I truly enjoy. I’ve traveled through countries like Croatia, Albania, Uganda, and Ireland – always with a sense of adventure and curiosity. I’m used to simple living and know how to be resourceful in the wild.
Creativity is a huge part of who I am.
I love to draw and paint – whether it’s with a pencil, acrylics, or digitally using Adobe and CorelDRAW. I even did a five-month internship at a graphic design agency, where I was the only young woman among five (old^^) men. That experience taught me to bring in fresh ideas and confidence – and unexpectedly, it also gave me a bit of experience in childcare, as I occasionally looked after my boss’s two young children (ages 1 and 4).
Photography is another passion of mine – I recently got my first camera and am learning more every day.
I also enjoy sewing and invested in a good machine last year. I’ve made clothes and even added practical features to our rooftop tent!
Plants make me happy – my partner and I have turned our home into a little jungle, and I take care of all our houseplants. I also did an internship at a garden center, which gave me more experience with plant care.
Besides that, I have some hands-on skills in home renovation: painting walls, assembling furniture, and helping during multiple moves.
Academically, I graduated high school (Abitur) and can support with subjects like math, languages (English, German, a bit of French and Latin) – which I’d be happy to share, too.
And I’m currently learning Portuguese.
In my free time, I love staying active. I played volleyball in a club for several years, and I’m a strong swimmer – I even earned the German gold swimming badge. So if you’re near water or have a volleyball court, count me in!
Sustainability is important to me. I’m a vegetarian and was part of my school’s environmental group, working to promote eco-friendly habits.
And of course, I’m always happy to help around the house – I’ve lived independently for some time and know how to keep things clean and organized.
I also have a driver’s license (manual and automatic) and my own car, which is currently our mobile home, so we´re pretty flexible.
I’d love to contribute to your project or household – whether it’s with animals, art, gardening, kids, or simply being a helping hand. I’m reliable, warm-hearted, and always bring a smile with me.
Elias:
Hey everyone! My name is Elias, and I’m a curious, easy-going, and open-minded person who loves to work with my hands, build and fix things, and connect with people and animals alike. I’m excited to be part of new projects and to help wherever I’m needed.
I completed my apprenticeship in construction technology, specializing in metalwork. Since then, I’ve set up my own small workshop – it now takes up half of our garage!
I have experience in welding, turning, milling, thermal cutting, grinding, and more. I enjoy building my own machines and tools – one of my recent projects is a custom hot water heater that’s been incredibly helpful on our travels.
Besides that, I’ve gained work experience in different areas: from working in the food industry, volunteering at a retirement home, to helping friends with roofing and other construction jobs. I’m always open to learning something new and enjoy tackling practical challenges.
Over the past years, I’ve also taught myself a lot about electrical systems. Thanks to that, we are able to install our own solar panel setup for our trip, giving us reliable power on the road. I even built a large sound system from scratch – our neighbors definitely know when it’s running!
I’m very comfortable with all kinds of vehicles – I drive both manual and automatic cars, love riding motorcycles, and have experience operating tractors. Whether it’s on the road or in the field, I’m confident behind the wheel.
Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up helping out on my grandmother’s and aunt’s farms, both full of life with chickens, pigs, ducks, geese, pigeons, horses, a loyal dog, and plenty of cats. I’ve always loved caring for animals and spending time with them.
At home, we now have two cats – Rosalie and Findus – who are very much part of the family.
Another big interest of mine is chemistry – especially inorganic chemistry. It may sound a bit nerdy, but it comes in handy! For example, I’ve learned how to create homemade fertilizers, which our many houseplants definitely appreciate.
I also have a lot of experience with camping, as I went on many outdoor trips with my parents while growing up. I know how to make a proper fire, set up camp, and live simply and comfortably in nature. My ability to improvise and solve problems quickly often makes a big difference – whether we’re camping or fixing something unexpected.
People say I’m empathetic and easy to get along with – I enjoy meeting others, having deep conversations, and making people feel comfortable.
Oh, and one fun fact: I may not look like a bodybuilder, but I’ve never lost an arm wrestling match!
If you’re looking for someone who is handy, friendly, adaptable, and always ready to lend a hand – I’d be happy to help you with your project or day-to-day tasks. I’m looking forward to meeting you and exchanging skills and stories!
Together, we’re a creative and skilled team that balances hands-on experience with a love for nature, animals, and people. While one of us brings technical knowledge in metalwork, mechanics, and electrics – always ready to build, fix, or improve anything – the other adds creativity, artistic flair, and a strong sense for caring, whether it’s for kids, animals, or plants.
We both love spending time outdoors, are used to camping and simple living, and always find solutions, even in unexpected situations. We’re kind, reliable, and enjoy working with others. Our different strengths complement each other perfectly – and we’re always ready to learn something new and lend a helping hand.Edad

Anna: I use Duolingo every day and currently have a streak of over 335 days. Learning languages has become a part of my daily routine, and I’m really proud of staying consistent for so long.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the card game Rommé and if there´s a party I never say no to a good drinking game.
I also really love singing — it’s one of my biggest passions. I even took singing lessons for four years, which helped me grow a lot vocally and express myself through music.
Elias:
I used to sing with the Regensburger Domspatzen, one of the most famous boys’ choirs in Germany, so technically I can sing quite well… but these days, I usually keep that talent to myself. Let’s just say my shower gets the best performances.
Besides music, I’m really interested in physics. I love thinking about how the world works and often come up with little inventions or ideas – just for fun or to solve everyday problems. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll create something actually useful!Más información
