I'm originally from Guatemala, a tropical country in Central America. My area of expertise is biology with a focus on environmental stressors, I've worked for a bit over 5 years in environmental protection projects, delving into ecosystem health assessment. I have a passion for the marine environment, which has led me to live in Europe and meet international friends. My interests originated from participating in environmental education organizations with projects in Central America, working with permaculture, vermicompost, and fungiculture (Ecological Movement https://www.facebook.com/MovimientoECOES ).

*Techo Foundation - Guatemala
I've been a volunteer for Helvetas Swiss Cooperation in Guatemala (6 months), working in wildlife surveys. For Techo Foundation I assisted in building housing solutions in rural areas.
At the moment I'm traveling in Europe, after completing my studies. My goals are to work on projects related to nature protection and restoration, in line with the importance of keeping a balanced life. In the past, I've worked outdoors in my family's farm, as well as in the office environment. I value friendship, honesty, perseverance, tolerance and achieving goals through teamwork. I'm excited to collaborate together! Looking forward to working along!

I'm handy for gardening, farm work, permaculture work, painting, general maintenance of domestic facilities and vehicles, cleaning and harvesting crops. I've also had experience assisting in construction work. These are skills related to farmwork in my grandparent's home country. Im also a skilled vehicle and motorcycle driver. I have a diving license and first aid training courses.

My favorite hobby is mountain biking. Back home and in the past years I've moved myself around in bicycle around the cities I've lived. it's one of my favorite activities. I enjoy taking care of pets (cats, dogs, farm animals, etc), as well as swimming, hiking, diving, and surfing. I also enjoy maintaining the garden and growing vegetables.
In my home, I grew up with multiple pets (cats & dogs), so I enjoy their company. I can send pics of them if needed.
