I see myself as a serene person and a life long learner. I had a long and fulfilling career. I recently retired. I would now travel, learn new languages, experience new cultures and meet new people.

I recently retired and have now more time for my projects.
Since I love meeting new people, especially different cultures, I decided to restart travelling.
The idea of Workaway seems to me the right way to live somewhere for a while and meet people or communities I would never meet on simple holidays.
I am practical, reliable and precise, but also easygoing and enjoy learning new things.
I eat healthily and simply.
I live in a small village 40 km far from Turin, a city famous for its baroque. Near home a lake and possibilities of hiking on hills or mountains. In few hous by train I can reach the most importan cities of northern and central Italy.
At home you will meet a small old dachshund.

All things domestic. I am mother of two grown and successful kids.
I was a Teacher, I graduated at the University in Italian language and literature, I worked with students of all ages, but mostly in High schools. I can manage and interact with groups and I am accostumed to teamwork.
I had also working experience in farms, hotels, travel agencies, and as tour guide.
I had volonteer work experiences, both helping to prepare food and dish out meals, and carrying out a range of office-based tasks, including responding to phone and email communication, and filing documents.
I am clean and tidy and like to be organised.
Having had dogs, cats and rabbits, I enjoying caring for them.

I have interest in community work and anything to do with education, health and well being generally. I am practical, reliable and precise, but also easygoing. I deeply believe in values such as respect for diversity. I pay close attention to mutual respect and personal hygiene.
