I shall find satisfaction in my travels assisting my hosts and hostesses with around the home and or the farm with help in construction projects, dogs watching, basic gardening, wood chopping, clearing bushes or even language conversational practices with those who might be interested; fluent in Spanish & English with a basic communication level of French & German.
I am extremely interested in learning about sustainable methods of living, permaculture & home solar energy production, & though I do not possess specific formal training on such endeavors, I am always ready to lend a helping hand where needed.
The early Winter of 2016 in the state of New York helped hosts Carmen, Alejandro & Rebeca to chop the wood for the season & to clear their large back yard of bushes & to prepare the soil for planting. Summer of 2017 assisted Lauren & John with dogs watching & walking in the state of Colorado In the Winter of 2018 provided visitation company to elderly friends Anne in Denmark & Martha & Gerrit in the Netherlands & finally in the Winter of 2019-2020, in the state of Washington, shared for a short time dogs walking routine with my hostesses Elli & Rena, helped Lori in the state of Oregon with wood chopping, Ruth in Utah with basic electrical repairs & Stefanie in the state of Louisiana rearranging wood in her bungalow.
My hope is to come away from every encounter with a bit more human understanding new & enriching life & cultural experiences, having shared with members of society united by a common vision & immersed in the quest for the true richness of nature & the endless givings of the universe.
