Dear future host,

I’m Sofía—photographer, animal lover, nature enthusiast, art admirer and gracefully dramatic person (in the most charming way). I firmly believe that humor and irony are essential survival skills, and I bring them everywhere I go. I’m passionate about discovering new places, meeting interesting people, and embracing new challenges—especially when they involve good food, great company, and a beautiful landscape.

WorkAway Experience

• Älmhult, Sweden (Winter 2021)
Lived in a cozy cabin deep in the Swedish forest while assisting a family with their permaculture project. My tasks included photography, social media management, script development, and marketing. It was an incredible experience that combined creativity, sustainability, and the joy of waking up surrounded by nature

• Bretagne, France (Summers 2015 & 2017)
Spent two summers at a nature campsite, working as a receptionist, taking care of animals, and managing housekeeping tasks. I loved the mix of hospitality, outdoor life, and French culture.

• Crete, Greece (Summer 2014)
Volunteered in a natural park as a tourist guide, responsible for animal care, plant maintenance, and general upkeep. This was my first WorkAway experience, and it sparked my passion for these kinds of projects.
